Introduction

Welcome to the “official website” of ClearTrace Intelligence. ClearTrace Intelligence is registered as a proprietorship in the Province of Ontario (Canada). It is owned and operated by Don Philip Faithful. No services are currently being offered to organizations during this period of early development. However, this website is meant to detail the services as they are expected to become available. Most technical services relate to cybersecurity – particularly domain and subdomain reconnaissance and enumeration. However, I am most interested in social engineering. Please direct any questions to [email protected].

I consider my target audience those organizations that feel penetration testing services might be worthwhile although they currently lack starting points. I offer an inexpensive basic service essentially to serve as a starting point for further investigation – assuming the organization shows interest in a more in-depth analysis at a later time. The only catch is that I personally don’t go beyond the basic service: the organization would have to seek out a different tester if it is interested in more aggressive methods. I do not use payloads in my practice.

There are three main aspects of my business: 1) reconnaissance involving the identification of legacy domains that may have been forgotten but remain accessible; 2) exploitation-free investigation (making no use of payloads) to map out domains and subdomains and any services present for vulnerabilities, such as the use of simple or default passwords; and 3) modelling social interactions and evaluating methodologies that seem to place organizations at increased risk of cyberattack. (The latter is particularly relevant in social-engineering attacks.)

In terms of the use of AI, potential clients might be interested in the Pseudo Channel Services, offering a lightweight intelligence framework that makes use of pseudonyms to maintain greater security.

ClearTrace Analytics makes use of Google Analytics, which attempts to compile aggregate data about visitors: pages visited; languages; locations (cities, states, and countries); browsers; devices; operating systems; and other marketing data. I use this data to determine the interests of my visitors. I don’t have the ability to activate or deactivate this feature based on requests from individual user. Google Analytics makes use of JavaScript embedded in each page to forward user information to the server. JavaScript is typically activated on most browsers by default.
